Position: Production

Description: Dakota Awards, Inc. a National Award & Recognition company, has an opening in the
Bismarck area, and is looking for Production Personnel, who will be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with all electronic layouts in the studio. Produce high resolution and technically correct artwork in a timely and cost effective manner.

Skills:
Maintain files for all client specific graphic standards.
Develop computer layouts and electronic artwork for client presentations (internal production) and pre-press (file release to outside vendors).
Effective and timely management of assigned projects as requested Production Mananger; overtime and weekend work might be required due to client deadlines.
Maintain a superior knowledge of the latest technology, i.e. learn new programs as they are released.
Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferred.
Background in graphic art.
Good typography skills.
Understanding of layout challenges of individual projects; able to provide creative/technical solutions to problems.
Proficiently with CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Knowledge of printing process to help achieve high quality finished artwork.
Good organization, time management and communication skills.
A detail-oriented, collaborative, team-player.
